Activities at Engage in Germany center vary from week to week. Nevertheless, here is an idea of what to expect from your first week of volunteering or interning in Halle.

The People of Engage in Germany

Our organization believes that the people who work or study here are its foundation. This means that our office office is a very sociable place. Upon arrival, you will meet the permanent staff and founders of the center.

As time goes on, you will find yourself meeting more and more people. In time you will meet many international volunteers and friends of the center including students, refugees, and other locals to Halle.

Host Family

You will meet your host family when you first arrive in Halle. Your first day will likely be spent unpacking and settling in, as well as getting to know your host family. Sharing stories and asking questions during these first few days will help you to bond with the family and learn about their culture.

Work

Once you have received your schedule, you can plan for independent activities like exploring Halle.
