Arabic students typically engage in two classes per week, each lasting around an hour and a half. When it comes to scheduling lesson times and determining the number of sessions, we work collaboratively with students to find the most suitable arrangements based on individual preferences.
If you’re located in North or South America, or Australia, where there could be a time difference of up to 10 hours, don’t worry. We’ll ensure to find Arabic lesson times that accommodate both parties’ schedules. Additionally, students have the flexibility to choose the number of hours they wish to register for, ranging from 10 to 100 hours of Arabic courses.
What is Palestinian Arabic?
Palestinian Arabic is part of the Levantine Arabic dialect continuum, which includes varieties spoken in Jordan, Palestine, Lebanon, and Syria. Most Palestinians in Palestine, Israel, and the Palestinian diaspora speak Palestinian Arabic. Alongside Jordanian Arabic, it’s referred to as South Levantine Arabic.
Within Palestine, different dialects can be identified. In the northern West Bank, for example, there’s a distinct dialect. Additionally, the Arabic spoken in the Hebron area is similar to the language spoken by descendants of Palestinian refugees living in Jordan and southwestern Syria.

In 2012, Engage in Germany created the Study Palestinian Arabic online program. The Arabic lessons take place on Google Meet, via Skype, Zoom, WhatsApp, Facebook, and other online learning platforms. Many international students from all over the world join our Arabic study program monthly.

A Combination of Modern Standard Arabic and Palestinian dialect
Engage in Germany provides Arabic courses for students who would like to learn Modern Standard Arabic (Fusha), or who would like to combine studying Standard Arabic with Palestinian Arabic (Levantine). Students can customize their online Arabic courses according to their level, learning preferences, and the dialect of Arabic they would like to learn.
Material Provided
Engage in Germany provides Arabic students with books and learning materials online, and the courses offered are all one-on-one. Our teachers often use interactive activities such as videos, games, cards, drawings, etc., which make the Arabic classes engaging and the learning process more enjoyable.
Free Online Arabic Lesson
Arabic students will first complete a placement test that will determine the appropriate Arabic language level. The initial class is a free-of-charge trial; if the student is satisfied with the Palestinian Arabic Online lesson, the participant then registers and pays the course fees.

Learn Palestinian Arabic Online: The Palestinian dialect is a colloquial Arabic dialect (Ammiya), part of the greater Southern Levantine dialect, that is spoken by the people of Palestine. The Palestinian dialect is considered to be the closest to Modern Standard Arabic, which is also known as “Fusha”.
2. Online Levantine Arabic Classes
Online Levantine Arabic Classes: Engage in Germany provides super-intensive, intensive, and non-intensive online Levantine (Shami or Ammiya اللغة العامية) courses, encompassing Palestinian, Jordanian, Syrian, and Lebanese Arabic dialects. Upon completion of every online Arabic course, Engage in Germany awards a Certificate of Completion. It will be available as a PDF document, and it will be sent via email
How Do I Become an Online Student?
- Email us requesting an application, listing the name of your desired Arabic course.
- We will send you the application. You will fill it out and send it back to us.
After we receive your Arabic online application
- We review your application and confirm the time of your 1-hour free trial session. (1-2 days)
- If you are satisfied with the trial hour, email us your desired number of sessions/ hours.
Payment and confirmation
- We will then send you a form confirming all details of your online course, which you will return to us.
- We prepare and send you the invitation letter, contract, and an invoice.
- You will sign the contract and make a payment in order to reserve your place in the course.
Requirements
We recommend using a laptop with webcam and audio capabilities, but the great thing about learning online is that you can even do it on your mobile phone.
Good internet connection
You’ll also need a reliable internet connection to make sure you can connect to your teacher.
