For volunteers, interns, and students, Engage in Germany’s program flexibility is designed to work around their schedules, with programs being available year-round (Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter), as well as starting and ending dates up to the participant’s choice!
Do I Need English Teaching Experience?
Most people who want to join internships that involve teaching English ask whether English Teaching experience is required. At Engage in Germany:

- After breakfast, the interns either meet with his/her students for the first English class of the day, prepare and give presentations, or write articles for publication.
- After that, the interns have their choice of cooking lunch in the center or visiting a restaurant in the city with other interns and/or volunteers.
- In the afternoon, an intern will either teach another English class or partake in German or Arabic lessons.
- The center closes at 6 p.m. Interns and volunteers are asked to assist in one cleaning duty per week.
